Hello High School Seniors,
Hope everyone is doing well. There is an amazing scholarship opportunity from Tombow for which I encourage you to apply. Tombow is giving away two scholarships in the amount of $5,000 and $2,500. For more information, please visit their website at: https://www.tombowusa.com/art-scholarship
Submission requirements include completing:
Application form
Digital portfolio
Include 1-3 high resolution (300 ppi or higher) scanned or photographed images of artwork created using any of the following mediums: graphite pencil, water-based marker/brush pen, alcohol-based marker/brush pen, drawing pen, and/or permanent marker. At least one submission must be created using graphite pencils.
Artist’s statement
Reasons why you would like to be an artist, why you are seeking this scholarship, what art means to you, what you want to learn, why you are committed to art, and what your academic and career plans are. Statements should be 300-500 words in length; typed and double-spaced.
Letter of recommendation
A letter of recommendation from a current, or past, instructor familiar with your artistic qualifications.
Transcript
A copy of your high school transcript.
